ELEO honoured as industry winner for ‘Top Career Opportunities’
ELEO was named industry winner in the garden fence shop operator category in the ‘Top Career Opportunities 2025’ study conducted by ServiceValue in cooperation with DEUTSCHLAND TEST. The company also received a special award for ‘Top Career Opportunities for Women 2025’.
The study examines annually which employers in Germany offer particularly attractive career prospects. The evaluation is based on extensive social media monitoring with around 1.4 million mentions of over 16,000 companies, supplemented by questionnaire results. With a maximum score of 100 points, ELEO sets the benchmark for its industry.

ELEO honoured as top supplier in the ‘Garden’ category – ELEO Fence Systems wins the Life and Living Award 2025 & 2024
The Life & Living Award is presented by the news channel ntv and the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) and honours companies that impress with outstanding customer satisfaction in the provision of products and services for improved living and lifestyle. Based on over 50,000 customer reviews and more than 600 providers, ELEO Fence Systems was named one of Germany’s three most popular providers in the ‘Fences and Gates’ category in 2025. In 2024, the company received the award for ‘Germany’s Most Popular Provider’ in the ‘Railings’ category.

ELEO awarded the ‘Digital Champions 2025’ seal of approval
ELEO has been awarded the DEUTSCHLAND TEST seal of approval ‘Digital Champions 2025’ in the garden fence shop category. The renowned study by DEUTSCHLAND TEST and FOCUS Money thus recognises ELEO’s digital innovation and strategic foresight.
The comprehensive study was conducted by ServiceValue GmbH in collaboration with the Institute for Management and Economic Research (IMWF) on behalf of Deutschland Test and Focus Money. Around 14,900 companies were evaluated using a two-stage model. The aim was to identify those companies that are particularly successful in meeting the challenges of digitalisation and shaping their industry through technological innovations.

TOP service provider and TOP recommendation

The ProvenExpert rating tool offers customers the opportunity to publicly rate companies or services using a 5-star system. As ELEO has received a large number of positive reviews, we have been awarded the ProvenExpert seals of approval ‘TOP Service Provider’ and ‘TOP Recommendation’.
Germany’s Best Online Shops 2024 & 2022
ELEO Express honoured in the railing category
ELEO Express was awarded the ‘Germany’s Best Online Shops’ prize in the summer of 2024 – and also in the summer of 2022. The well-known prize is awarded by the news channel ntv and the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) on the basis of a detailed survey of consumers from all over Germany. The survey collects around 64,000 opinions, which determine who ranks among the best providers in 87 categories. The evaluation criteria are: price-performance ratio, product range, customer service, website, shipping and returns, as well as ordering and payment conditions.

At ELEO Express, customers can find handcrafted wrought iron products such as fences, railings and gates, which are shipped directly from stock. Our modern shop was able to meet all of the DISQ’s criteria to our complete satisfaction – and we are now delighted to have received the ‘Germany’s Best Online Shops’ award in the ‘Garden Fences’ and ‘Railings’ categories.

BAVARIA’S BEST 50 and Bavarian Entrepreneur of the Year
ELEO received two special awards. Firstly, the prestigious BAYERNS BEST 50 award and secondly, Managing Director Katrin Weinkauf was named ‘Bavarian Entrepreneur of the Year 2023’.
The BAYERNS BEST 50 award is presented annually by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs. Nominations are made for medium-sized companies with particularly strong growth that have achieved above-average increases in turnover and employee numbers in recent years. Selection criteria for the exclusive ‘Bavarian Entrepreneur of the Year’ award include the company’s particular economic success and the active role played in the business. The entire ELEO team is particularly proud of this award and the honour bestowed upon our managing director.
Nominated for the ‘Grand Prize for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses’
Jury stage of the competition
The Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses is one of the most established and coveted business awards in Germany, presented by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation. Every year, outstanding medium-sized companies from the fields of industry, services, trade, crafts and commerce are honoured. The prestigious competition is organised on a voluntary basis and financed exclusively by private funds. It is also subject to a quality management system certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2015.
ELEO GmbH – with its forward-looking concept of selling custom-made fence systems, pavilions and garden items made from handcrafted wrought iron exclusively online – was also nominated for the 2022 award. This meant we were among the final round of nominees and were one of the 450 final candidates for the coveted prize.
Digital champions in Bavarian retail
Voted to Digital Champions 2021 with online-configured fences
As a successful craft business that has been pursuing a consistent and ongoing digitalisation strategy for the sale of our fencing systems and pavilions for several years, we demonstrate what can be achieved with digitalisation.
The core of the strategy is that our customers can digitally configure and customise their wrought iron fences, gates and gazebos in the ELEO online shops. Last year, we successfully implemented three major digitalisation projects and have now been awarded the Digital Champions 2021 prize for our efforts.

The award, which honours companies that successfully combine brick-and-mortar and online retail, is presented by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, ibi research at the University of Regensburg and DATEV eG. This year, five ‘Digital Champions in Bavarian Retail’ will be honoured – including ELEO GmbH from the tranquil town of Großheirath.

About the Digital Champions
For the second time, the ‘Digital Champions in Bavarian Retail’ award is being presented by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, ibi research at the University of Regensburg and DATEV eG. An independent jury of experts selected five winners. These are presented at www.digitale-champions.bayern. All winners have their say in their own podcast interviews. On 7 March 2022, the Digital Champions in Bavarian Retail 2021 were honoured by Economic Secretary Roland Weigert. Our managing director Katrin Weinkauf accepted this special certificate.
