Life and Living Award 2026, 2025 & 2024
The “Life & Living Award” is presented by the news channel ntv in partnership with the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ), recognising companies that excel through high levels of customer satisfaction in the home and living sector.
For ELEO GmbH, this accolade has become a testament to our consistently high standards:
In 2026, we were recognised in two categories – “Fences & Gates” and “Pergolas”. The award was based on a large-scale consumer survey of approximately 44,000 votes, in which 591 companies were evaluated. The assessment criteria included overall satisfaction, trustworthiness, value for money, customer service, product range, brand image, and product quality.
In 2025, we were recognised as one of the three most popular providers in Germany in the category “Fences & Gates”, and in 2024 we were honoured as “Germany’s most popular provider” in the category “Railings”.

Germany’s Best Training Companies & Germany’s Best Employers 2026
ELEO GmbH has been recognised by both DEUTSCHLAND TEST and the DQBG (German Quality & Assessment Society) as one of Germany’s best training companies, as well as an exceptionally attractive employer.
The “Germany’s Best Training Companies 2026” accolade from DEUTSCHLAND TEST was based on an analysis of approximately 17,000 companies, incorporating online mentions, social media data, and surveys. ELEO was highlighted as the industry winner.
The DQBG also recognised ELEO as part of its study on Germany’s best training companies 2026, further confirming the high quality of vocational training within the company.
The DQBG’s “Germany’s Best Employers 2026” study evaluates employer quality on the basis of public surveys, AI-assisted online analysis, and company data. Key factors such as future viability, work-life balance, development opportunities, and family-friendliness are all taken into account. A minimum overall score of 4 stars is required to qualify for the award – a standard ELEO met with ease.

Digital-Champion 2026 & 2025
ELEO GmbH was recognised in both 2025 and 2026 in the “Digital Champion” study by DEUTSCHLAND TEST and FOCUS Money, cementing its position among the leading companies in the “Garden Fence Shops” category.
The 2025 award was based on an analysis of approximately 14,900 companies, examining both public perception and internal digitalisation performance. The study was conducted by ServiceValue GmbH in collaboration with the Institute for Management and Economic Research (IMWF).
In 2026, the study was expanded further to cover around 16,500 companies. In addition to analysing millions of online mentions through social listening, the assessment also evaluated companies’ internal processes, data management, communications, and structures. ELEO once again performed strongly, receiving the award for a second consecutive time – and additionally being named industry winner.
Being recognised as a “Digital Champion” for the second time confirms our unwavering commitment to progress and underlines our dedication to continuously advancing and future-proofing our digital processes.

Nominated for the “Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses” 2026, 2024, 2023 & 2022
The “Großer Preis des Mittelstandes” (Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses) is one of Germany’s most prestigious business awards and is presented by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation. Each year, it recognises small and medium-sized enterprises from industry, services, trade, crafts and commerce that distinguish themselves through outstanding economic performance and sustainable business practices.
In 2022, ELEO GmbH was nominated for this award and progressed to the jury stage of the competition. This placed the company among the final 450 candidates and recognised it as one of the selected businesses in the course of the awards process.
We regard this nomination as recognition of our successful approach to offering bespoke fencing systems, pavilions and garden products made from handcrafted wrought iron through online retail.

ProvenExpert is a review platform that allows customers to publicly rate companies and services using a five-star rating system.
Thanks to a large number of positive customer reviews, ELEO GmbH has repeatedly been awarded the “Top Service Provider” seal from 2022 to 2026 and the “Top Recommendation” seal in 2022 and 2023.

Top career opportunities in 2025
ELEO was recognised as industry winner in the category of garden fence shop operators in the “Top Career Opportunities 2025” study by ServiceValue, conducted in cooperation with DEUTSCHLAND TEST. In addition, the company received the special award for “Top Career Opportunities for Women 2025”.
The study examines which employers in Germany offer particularly attractive career prospects, and is conducted on an annual basis. The evaluation included analysis of approximately 1.4 million social media mentions relating to more than 16,000 companies, supplemented by additional surveys.
With a perfect score of 100 points, ELEO GmbH set the benchmark in its sector, underlining its strong position as a forward-thinking employer with a clear vision for the future.

Germany’s Best Online Shops 2024 & 2022
ELEO Express was recognised with the “Germany’s Best Online Shops” award in both 2024 and 2022. The award is presented by the news channel ntv in partnership with the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ).
The accolade was based on comprehensive surveys of approximately 64,000 and 77,000 consumers respectively from across Germany. Assessment criteria included value for money, product range, customer service, web presence, as well as ordering, delivery, and payment processes.
ELEO Express successfully positioned itself in the “Garden Fences” and “Railings” categories, meeting all of the DISQ’s evaluation criteria to the highest standard.

Bavaria’s Best 50 and Bavarian Businesswoman of the Year 2023
ELEO GmbH was honoured with the “BAVARIA’S BEST 50” award in 2023. In addition, Managing Director Katrin Weinkauf was recognised as “Bavarian Entrepreneur of the Year 2023”.
The “BAVARIA’S BEST 50” award is presented annually by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy. It recognises medium-sized companies that have achieved particularly strong growth in recent years, with assessment criteria including the development of both revenue and headcount.
The “Bavarian Entrepreneur of the Year” accolade honours commercial success as well as an individual’s active role and responsibility within their company.
These awards reflect the positive development of ELEO GmbH and the dedication of our entire team. We are proud of this recognition and see it as an inspiration to continue on our path with the same determination.

Digital Champions in Bavarian Retail
For several years, ELEO GmbH has pursued a consistent digitalisation strategy in the retail of fence systems and pavilions, with the aim of offering customers a modern and flexible shopping experience.
A key element of this strategy is digital configuration: in the ELEO online shops, customers can individually plan and design their wrought iron fences, gates, and pavilions.
As part of this ongoing development, a number of digitalisation projects have been successfully implemented. In recognition of these achievements, ELEO GmbH was named “Digital Champion in Bavarian Retail” in 2021. The certificate was presented by Roland Weigert, State Secretary for Economic Affairs.
The award is presented by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, in conjunction with ibi research at the University of Regensburg and DATEV eG. Its purpose is to recognise companies that successfully integrate digital solutions with traditional brick-and-mortar retail.
