Coatings

You can choose from three finishes, each offering its own distinctive look.

Powder coating anthracite

Powder coating is our most popular option. You should choose this option if you want very high corrosion protection with a particularly attractive appearance. With this option, the material is blasted, zinc phosphated, and given a final coat of anthracite (duplex system).

Custom colors can also be realized with powder coating according to your individual requirements.

Advantages

  • High corrosion protection
  • Impact and shock resistant
  • Environmentally friendly, as no solvents are used
  • Highest quality standards thanks to the duplex process
  • Custom color requests can be realized – RAL colors

Note on powder coating
Mounting materials (e.g. slotted screws) are not supplied with a colour coating. However, colour matching can be carried out after installation.

Hot-dip galvanising

When choosing a hot-dip galvanised surface, the finished workpiece is dipped in molten zinc (450°C). This process creates a deep alloy layer of iron and zinc, which provides long-term protection against the elements. The zinc layer appears bright and shiny when fresh, but takes on a silvery, matte color over time.

Uncoated
(raw iron / Patina)

With the uncoated version, your product will develop a patina within a short period of time, transforming it into a romantic piece of wrought iron art. The stability of the fence or gate is not affected by the patina, as it acts as a protective layer for the metal underneath.

Corten steel

Corten steel is a weather-resistant structural steel characterized by its efficient weather resistance. The steel forms a special barrier layer beneath the rust layer when exposed to the elements. This layer protects the surface from further corrosion. The protective layer is constantly formed and renewed with the weather over the years.

Visually, Corten steel impresses with a sophisticated patina with a special rust look. Because this patina is constantly changing, the appearance is unique and varies in different shades from brownish to golden.
