We supply double gates in standard widths of 160 to 400 cm and heights of 70 to 200 cm. We are also happy to manufacture custom sizes for you. You can send us a sketch to give us an idea of the dimensions you require. If you have any difficulties with the measurements, our customer service team will be happy to help you with their expert and friendly advice. Posts, a matching fence and an additional garden gate can be ordered at the same time in the configurator, so that you can put together a complete courtyard gate system from a single source.

Custom-made yard gates, prices by arrangement

The cost of uncoated yard gates also includes matching decorative finials of your choice, hinges and tubular frame locks. ELEO does not carry out the installation, but it is easy and safe to do yourself thanks to the instructions provided. We manufacture the yard gates at the base price in the dimensions specified by our customers so that they can be optimally integrated into existing structures such as fences or walls. Of course, prices and delivery times must be adjusted for unusual special requests for yard gates. A personalised courtyard gate, which is hand-forged from scratch according to the customer’s ideas and design, takes a little longer to complete. It may take a few weeks for delivery, but the finished gate for your yard will then last a lifetime.

What is the best material for a yard gate: metal, wood or PVC?

When it comes to durability, maintenance and appearance, high-quality metal is clearly ahead of the game. The material offers the following advantages:

Appearance: Wrought iron still looks good even after years of use. Deposits and damage occur far less frequently than with wooden or plastic gates.
Care: Powder coating and hot-dip galvanising provide decades of corrosion protection without having to be renewed regularly, as is the case with wood.
Durability: Metal retains its shape permanently: your garden gate will usually last a lifetime.
Aesthetics: Wrought iron gates exude a high-quality elegance and can be optimally adapted to your property and house thanks to many design options.

Do you supply courtyard gates with asymmetrical wings, and can I exchange them?

Of course, you can order our double swing gates with wings of different widths. If the entrance is not only used as a driveway for cars but also as a passageway for people, this is actually the best solution. This means you don’t have to open two large wings every time you come home on foot. Please consult us if you have curved gates. This also applies if you want to swap the wings.

Can the opening direction be freely determined?

You can install our swing gates to open either inwards or outwards. Please ensure that there is sufficient space for the gate leaves to swing open. According to the law, they must not extend onto public property.

Are your courtyard gates available with matching privacy screens?

Yes, we also offer a wide range of privacy gates and doors! In addition, some of our basic models are equipped with privacy panels in the foot area, while others have closely spaced, solid bars or decorative elements. We would be happy to explain further privacy options to you on request.

Can I paint a powder-coated garden gate?

If you would like to paint your yard gate with iron mica paint or metal protective varnish, for example, we recommend ordering an uncoated product. After thorough cleaning with metal cleaner, the raw iron can be easily painted yourself. Powder-coated goods are already sufficiently protected against corrosion.

What is included in the scope of delivery of your courtyard gates?

Our courtyard gates are supplied as complete, ready-to-install sets, i.e. with all necessary mounting materials such as screws, hinges and neck collar straps. Accessories such as posts, handle sets, locks and locking cylinders can be ordered directly with your gate.

Can the gates be mounted on posts at the base?

For stability reasons, courtyard gates should be attached to posts set in concrete. Alternatively, you can use existing masonry and steel posts. Details on fastening can be found in our detailed installation instructions.

I would like to open the courtyard gate electrically. Is that possible?

You can equip each of our courtyard gates with a radio-controlled opening mechanism. You need one gate drive per wing. Depending on the system, the handheld transmitter can also be used to open the garage door.
