High-quality and durable appearance
In order for heritage fencing to provide protection, it must be of high quality and durable. Therefore, only metal or wrought iron can be considered. ELEO manufactures your heritage fencing exclusively by hand from wrought iron. We are convinced of the quality of this raw material, as it not only withstands all weather conditions for decades, but also requires very little maintenance. Wrought iron is also one of the hardest metals and is virtually indestructible.

Historic fencing: an eye-catching feature with a distinctive look
Patina – a romantic finish that blends harmoniously into the overall appearance of your property. This naturally occurring layer of rust on untreated wrought iron is particularly popular for historic fencing. The patina, which forms naturally through oxidation, enhances your historic fencing and gives it a stylish and unique look.
Would you like to combine a modern and historic look? Don’t worry: our fences are of course not only available in a patina finish. The historic appearance created by the shape, decoration and lace can easily be modernised with a different coating. We offer the following coating options:
- Hot-dip galvanised
- Powder-coated anthracite
- Powder-coated in the colour of your choice (RAL colours)
Decorative finials as the crowning glory of your historic fence
Whether you have a townhouse or a classic country house, historic fencing blends harmoniously into any property. Decorative finials add the finishing touch to historic fencing, giving it a unique and romantic look. You can choose from eight different decorative finials. They lend historic fencing a playful flair.
Hasp iron as a decorative element
Hasp iron – an almost forgotten manufacturing technique that gives your fence a special look. It refers to clamp-like profiles that connect the individual fence elements on the outside. They give historic fences in particular that certain something.

What dimensions are possible?
Our historic fencing systems are individually tailored to your requirements. We offer customised fencing solutions to suit your requirements, with widths ranging from a minimum of 30 centimetres to a maximum of 360 centimetres per fence panel and heights ranging from a minimum of 70 centimetres to a maximum of 200 centimetres. Please feel free to contact us to discuss the planning of your historic fencing system.
