Wrought iron – the first choice for your modern gate
With wrought iron, you are choosing a very high-quality material that promises a long service life. What makes it special is its high stability and hardness combined with the material’s easy malleability. This allows straight lines and elegance to be shown off to their best advantage. Due to its high weather resistance, wrought iron is particularly suitable for outdoor use and requires only minimal maintenance.
Various coating options for your driveway gate in a modern design
The coating is also crucial to the appearance and functionality of your modern driveway gate. You can choose between various coating options:
The duplex powder coating process is very popular, especially for a modern look. Here, the courtyard gate is first sandblasted, then cathodic dip coating (KTL) is applied as an undercoat, and finally the modern courtyard gate is finished with a polyester powder coating. The standard colour is anthracite DB 703, which conveys timeless elegance. However, any other special colour of your choice is also possible with powder coating. With a powder-coated courtyard gate, you get the best protection for all weather conditions and a very easy-care product.
Another coating option is hot-dip galvanising. Here, the courtyard gate is immersed in liquid zinc in a 450°C hot melt bath, creating a robust iron-zinc compound that offers excellent corrosion protection. Over time, the modern courtyard gate develops a silvery matt sheen, further enhancing its contemporary look.
Another alternative is to purchase the modern courtyard gate uncoated. As uncoated raw iron, your courtyard gate will develop a beautiful patina over time, which is very popular for antique and romantic courtyard gates.

For more individuality, you have the option of adding that extra something to your modern courtyard gate with our wide range of decorations and finials. You can choose from eight different finials: lily, cross, ball lily, ball bar, lance, lotus, pine or bar. For example, a ball bar or bar finial emphasises the modern character of your courtyard gate and makes it an eye-catching feature in your entrance area. Decorations are not a must – all our models can also be ordered without finials. Your modern courtyard gate is then finished with a simple flat steel crossbar, emphasising its linear style.

Can the driveway gate be retrofitted with an electric system?
All our driveway gates can be equipped with a radio-controlled opening mechanism, with each wing fitted with a gate operator. Depending on your system, it is also possible to link the handheld transmitter to other functions, such as opening the garage door.
