Whether at the edge of your property, on the balcony or in the middle of the garden, our weather-resistant metal panels offer privacy while adding stylish accents that make your outdoor space something special.
Metal privacy screens: Not all rust is the same
Made from robust, weatherproof structural steel, our rust-effect privacy screens develop a natural rust barrier layer of sulphates and phosphates when exposed to the elements. This prevents rusting through, as is often the case with inferior, untreated steel. The characteristic patina that forms on the surface and gives the panels their distinctive appearance is primarily aesthetic in nature and emphasises the special character of the elements. The durable panels are therefore weatherproof and maintenance-free for years of outdoor use. Additional coatings or special care are not necessary. However, depending on the location, for example on a terrace or balcony, Corten steel may rub off if exposed to high levels of moisture for long periods. In such cases, we recommend sealing the surface of the privacy screen with a colourless varnish to minimise rubbing.

Privacy screen with rust finish – each element is unique
Constant weathering causes the rust patina on our privacy screens to develop naturally. Each element develops in its own individual and unique way. Targeted watering can accelerate the rusting process – just avoid waterlogging. If you want to maintain the appearance of your privacy screen in a certain condition, we recommend using clear varnish or a special rust sealant. This will keep the surface exactly as you like it – while ensuring that your panels remain highly resistant to wind and weather.
Tip: Especially in the early stages of rusting, rust particles may occasionally come loose and discolour the surface – for example, when it rains. The particles can be removed with special rust removers.
