If you want to design your entrance gate in a historical style, ELEO offers a range of sophisticated design ideas. You are free to combine several decorative elements to create a unique historical gate.
For example, you can design historic gates in an antique look and choose a basic design in which geometric and organic motifs come together to form a harmonious whole. A curved shape with a fleur-de-lis, pine or lance as a decorative tip goes well with an untreated surface in a noble rust patina or a powder coating in a dark, subtle colour.
If you want to design a historic gate in a romantic style, then opt for a basic model in a curved shape with decorative tips in a floral, organic design. A historic gate in a romantic style can easily be designed in striking special colours.
Do you want your historic gate to have a strictly elegant and classic look? Then a design that is as understated as possible with a minimum of decorative elements is just right. Decorative tips in a strict geometric design or even a finish without tips create a classic, balanced overall look for your courtyard gate. A hot-dip galvanised or powder-coated surface in a subtle colour is an excellent visual finishing touch.

Antique wrought iron gates – an investment with a future

A double-wing gate in a vintage design is a major project and a forward-looking investment. Hand-forged iron lasts for generations and impresses with its prestigious appearance. Wrought iron is easy to shape and offers plenty of scope for creativity. This metal is also weather- and corrosion-resistant, hard and insensitive to mechanical impact.
Depending on whether you opt for an antique, romantic or classic style for your historic gate, we recommend either a design in untreated raw iron or a high-quality surface finish:
Untreated wrought iron will quickly develop an elegant rust patina, which is a perfect match for historic gates. If you would like to colour your courtyard gate yourself, natural iron is also the right choice.
Silvery-matt hot-dip galvanised surfaces give your historic gate a fresh touch. Hot-dip galvanising ensures that the wrought iron remains corrosion-resistant and impact-resistant for decades.
If you opt for powder coating, you will benefit from easy-care, robust surfaces in colour. ELEO Fence Systems offers powder coating in anthracite DB 703 as standard, with several RAL colours available on request.

Select the basic design, shape, coating and decorative finial to match the historical style, enter the desired dimensions of your double-leaf gate and decide on the design of the gate posts. If necessary, send us a sketch or photos of your premises.
You will soon receive a free, no-obligation quote from ELEO Fence. Of course, you can still make changes after configuring your historic gate. You can discuss these with your customer advisor. Once all your change requests have been implemented, we will be happy to produce a technical drawing with all the details.
