This distinguishes
wrought iron railings from products made of other materials.
A wrought iron railing is always a good choice, regardless of whether it is to adorn your balcony, staircase, window or garden wall. This is because wrought iron railings offer numerous advantages over railings made from other common materials such as wood, aluminium or stainless steel. Although stainless steel, for example, has similar processing properties to wrought iron, it is significantly more expensive and not readily suitable for surface coatings. Aluminium, on the other hand, is very light, but not as stable and resilient as wrought iron. Wood is very easy to work with and shape, but is extremely susceptible to weathering and requires extensive regular care and maintenance. This is not the case with wrought iron railings. They do not require maintenance, only occasional cleaning. In addition, they can be shaped into almost any form under the influence of heat, are extremely robust and also durable. Last but not least, they can be coated in a wide variety of ways.
Your wrought iron railing: even more durable with surface coatings
By applying a surface coating, we make your new wrought iron railing even more durable and weather-resistant. Regardless of which ELEO railing model you choose, you can select from four different coating methods. Have your wrought iron railing coated with either a
- Hot-dip galvanising,
- powder coating in anthracite DB 703 or
- powder coating in a RAL colour of your choice
Alternatively, you can forego these coatings and opt for a wrought iron railing with a natural patina of noble rust. Strictly speaking, this is not a coating. A rust patina forms on the surface of the railing. This does not destroy the metal, but protects it from harmful influences and looks particularly elegant.

What size should your wrought iron railing be?
We offer maximum flexibility when it comes to selecting the dimensions for your wrought iron railing. All our products are custom-made to customer specifications. This means that the ELEO product you order will always fit the requirements of your building, as we manufacture to the nearest millimetre. You can choose any width between 50 cm and 200 cm. The height is also limited to a maximum of 200 cm. However, the prescribed minimum height for fall protection must be observed. In order to be able to create wrought iron railings with a width of more than 200 cm, you have the option of connecting several individual elements together. We can supply you with railing posts to match every model series. These are available either for screw-on or front-end mounting.

Design your wrought iron railing online!
On our website, you will find our online configurator for wrought iron railings, fences and gates. This easy-to-use tool guides you step by step through the planning of your ELEO railing. It systematically asks for all dimensions and relevant data so that you don’t forget anything. Once you have completed the configuration, we will send you a non-binding quote for your wrought iron railing. It also includes a technical drawing that you can use to double-check all the measurements. Only after you have reviewed and approved the quote and drawing will we begin manufacturing your wrought iron railing. You always benefit from a fair price-performance ratio, as we are a direct seller and do not use intermediaries, thereby saving costs.
